Mary Barbara Hanna, M. Ed

Ann Y. Frost, MA MSL
Founder; Director of Control and Influence
I specialize in organizational development, particularly as it relates to: leadership, teamwork, and communications training.. My mission is to “support and develop your organization by supporting and developing your people.” My DiSC style is D, i - Dominance and Influence.
My StrengthsFinder results are Maximizer, Individualization, Self-Assurance, Futuristic, and Arranger.
Until I retired in August, 2011, I spent 14 years in the nonprofit environment serving as Assistant Director and Grants Manager of the SSJ Charitable Fund [Parkersburg, WV]. During those years, part of my responsibilities included providing technical assistance to applicants, grantees, and others in the nonprofit community on topics related to organizational capacity building. I quickly developed a passion and enthusiasm for this type of work, which continues today through my work as an independent contractor and as part of the training team at WVU-Parkersburg / Workforce and Economic Development.
My husband, Jack [yes, that would be Jack Frost] and I live in Union, Kentucky. Our three children are grown and live out of state with their families. When I'm not doting on my five grandchildren, Jack and I fill our empty nest with travel, golf, and a monumental home improvement project
Social Media Manager, Director of Conscientiousness
I manage and organize our Social Media services here at The Frost Advisory Group. My goal is to provide you and your team insightful articles, current videos, and leading edge book reviews on all things leadership for the 21st century.
I met MB after coordinating a Leadership Training where Mary Barbara lead a robust training on DiSC Behavioral Assessment .
It was no surprise to her that I was a solid C type. We can be very detail-oriented. C styles prefer focusing on facts, information and proofs. They are comfortable working alone. We're cautious and hold ourselves to high standards.
That being true, I have grown and adjusted through the years to be flexible and empathetic, some people may dare call me social.
I live in Northeast Ohio with my husband and 2 fur-kids. In my spare time I love to travel, spend time with friends and family, go off-roading and capture natures beauty with the lens of my camera.
The leadership and development trainings I participated in have certainly contributed to my personal growth. I highly recommend The Frost Advisory Group's teachings as their real life scenarios are beneficial to all as long as you're open to learning!
